Colleen and her husband Wayne combined forces in 1997 to create an architectural and interiors practice, Wayne Simpson Architect Inc, focusing on residential design in the Brandywine Valley and beyond. Their combined talents allow for seamless integration of exterior and interior architecture. Colleen’s training in architecture has served her well when concentrating on interiors and achieving her license through the National Council for Interior Design. Her keen sense of proportion and knowledge of structure separates her from typical interior designers. This is most evident in her drawings which are hand drafted documents for the purpose of construction.
